Patient and persistent when chasing unpaid claims, and able to explain balances to patients clearly and kindly.
- At least 1 year of U.S. medical billing experience
- Understanding of EOBs, ERAs, denial codes and the claims cycle
- Experience with at least one billing system or clearinghouse
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with numbers
